Seeing that im starting college soon
and that its gonna be a big change for me
i decided i should really start keeping a log of stuff
dont want to forget these moments..

arrived in belmont on august 18
actually august 19 at like.. 2 in the morning
long story about stupid 4 hour delayed flight
"they should just let the windows open".. Lol
met this nice maui guy named Tim who goes to USF
thanks to kristel kari ryan trisha alyssa aubrey traci novie who saw me off at the airport
made me cry TT.. kristel started it thats why
i was holding back my tears for the past 2 days before my flight
i wanted to cry when i spent my last "full" day with ritchel
when i said goodbye to him at 7 in the morning that day
when i kissed my grandma goodbye, my cats.. ahhhh my cats TT
then i was doing so well when i was hugging all my friends
then i went to hug kristel last
and there she was, covering her face, face red, and sobbing like crazy
and that was that, i couldnt hold it in anymore! waterfall.
and everyone kept me company as i texted them
i love you guys

Still cant believe im actually HERE!
the campus is really hilly
and believe when i say trees everywhere
EVERYWHERE! thats why its so freaking cold
even when the sun was out.. it was hot but it was freezing!
and i saw deer! for the first time. i saw about 8 since yesterday
bambi.

theres so much i have to post about these past few days.
let me just log down an outline:
- chinese restaurant
- hillsdale
- holiday inn belmont check in
- dorm..

my dorm room! i was supposed to have a roommate
but when i looked on my door, i saw only one name - mine
meaning that i have a single room.. for now
they said if a new student comes and needs a room
theyll fill up those empty spaces
but for now, im really hoping to have a single
room is pretty nice, a little smaller than hoped
well, i did hope for half a house, so i guess i was bound to have those hopes end anyway

took this math placement test today
i was dying! hey, i had mr woo for the past 2 years
a lot of my good math braincells have died
surprisingly though, i scored level 3 in elementary/basic/college level math
which is like the highest level you can get i guess
when i went to register for classes
the advisor/professor of the math department spoke to me on the side
saying that my math scores were very high
and really recommended that i minor in math or even change my major to math or computer science
i was really flattered, lol.
i guess even as bad as i thought i did, it was still pretty high for college level. idk.
hehe, cool

my classes. my advisor told me that most of my art classes will be at night
how cool is that?
i still a little worried about not taking a math class this year.
(i mean semester. i keep forgetting college classes are by semester only.)
since i scored high on the test, i go past basic/college algebra and straight to, like statistics or something..
but i think ill be fine, hey, if i can 2 years without learning anything in math and still score really good on that placement test? i think i can go for 4 months more.

met a couple of really nice already
some people are really nice and talkative and receptive and welcoming
others are pretty anti and bleh
i think i achieve a pretty good balance of both?
orientation games are lame though, haha
im really glad i have trisha here with me
it helps a lot to have at least 1 familiar face to depend on
and one of my closest friends? even better.

my dad is driving
our rental car is a blue chrysler town & country
my dad is thinking of actually buying one
remind me to talk more about his "driving".. xd

its pretty late, 11:50 at night, so thats 8:30 in hawaii
its funny, when ritchel calls me i think its so late
but its really like.. 9pm there
ive adjusted to cali time already so thats good

i miss ritchel.
i miss my cats.
i miss my aunty and grandma.
i miss my friends.
i miss the comfort of familiarity.
i miss hawaii and knowing where everything is without looking at signs.
i miss my parents and my sister already, even though they are still with me for the next 4 days..

and.. Happy belated 1 year, 1 month Anniversary, honey.
