Where do I shove this thing in?Well, let's hope it goes right here...
Since half of the household went to the PI, we've finally had a chance to do some work on the house. Went with my dad to go furniture shopping - spent $4000+ on new stuff. I'm so happy that we also got a new computer desk, the old one was big and clunky. But that means unplugging everything, taking it out of the old desk, and setting it up again in the new one. Rawr. I hate setting up computers. I'd rather pay for someone to do all of that for me. I was getting a headache figuring out which plug goes in where. Sure its all color-coded but some isn't. Where are the guys when you need them? Don't they live for this kind of stuff or something?
Prom pictures came in, finally. I've been especially waiting for our gangsta Crayola one. I just hope it came out good. Me and Kristel have this feeling our couple ones didn't... lol us and our intuitions. Going to see Ms Taan tomorrow after class to pick them up :)
SAT class finishes on Friday. We started with about 25 students, and for the last 3 classes, only 8 of us showed up. Where is everyone? Oh well, better for us. I really like that class, probably because of the people in it. I sit next to Kristel and in front of Brandon. Kristel gives me these yummy biscuit cookie things everyday. Thank you Kristel :) I will pay you back somehow. Then we just sit and talk after class while I wait for my ride. Such interesting conversations... :) And Brandon.. hooooo that boy. He's so FUNNY. Omg everything he says makes me laugh. My daily dose of lol-ness. I laugh just thinking about him LOL!

Brandon: Oh nothing, I just poked my throat with my pencil.
LOL! It's like, how the heck do you poke your throat with your pencil? It was so hard for me to hold my laughter in for the rest of the test. Hahahaha. Well, its one of those things where you have to be there.
DLed M-Flo's new album Cosmicolor today. People freaking me out telling me its their last album. But its not, thank God! Don't know what I'd do without Verbal and Taku :)
I'll write more later if I feel like it. I have a headache right now.

Sit in the dark with meand let's talk for a while...
I love Spring Break. I get to stay up as late as I want and do nothing but go online and play Pokemon Emerald on my GBA lol. That reminds me, I need to level up some more before I battle the next gym leader. And when are my Pikachu and Nuzleaf ever gonna evolve? Grr.
Grandma, aunty, and uncle are leaving for the Philippines in about 8 hours. I'm going to miss my grandma and aunty so much. I pray that they'll have a safe flight to and from the PI. Hope they bring me back something good :) Gotta clean the house to make room for Uncle Lauro when they come back...
It's really nice outside right now. It's so quiet and the night wind is cool. I'd love to just sit outside with someone and talk about... anything. I would go outside by myself, but I'm scared someone might jump out at me from behind the plants and I wouldn't know what to do. Ahhck.

What does a sentence and this week have in common?They both end with a...
*Sigh* Its my time again. I hate getting it. Going to the bathroom every few hours to change, always having to worry about leaking, and PMS - all this fineprint on that "becoming a woman" package lol. The bright side: I didn't get it during prom. Thank you God! Now that would've been
not-so-good.
Rewind. Yesterday, went with my sister to UH to do some errands. I love going to school with her - college is so different than high school and I love how independent and self-serving everything is. Now, where was I? Oh yeah, after UH we went to Ala Moana to kill time waiting for Nick to finish up his card tournament thing. Went to a few stores, saw nothing that interested me. But once we hit Slipper House, it was over. They had this huge sale on flats that literally had "
Jenn, Shop Here Now" written all over it. Sad thing was I only brought $25 with me. Why is it that when I do have money there's nothing I want, but when I dont have money, Slipper House has a sale? Why must the universe work like this... At least I got 2 pairs of shoes - a pair of white slingbacks and a pair of bright red flats with a huge bow on it, perfect for Arthur's next year. Can't wait to use them :)
After, we stopped by Old Navy and as soon as we walked in, I heard the nicest song I've heard in a looong time. I stopped in front of the nearest table (which happened to be in the little boys section lol) and stood there listening for lyrics to the song so I could find/dl it later. All I could muster were vague bits of speech which seemed to say "I wanna get closer to you, closer to you". Thank God that I was able to find it once I got home. And I've been in love with this song ever since, been on repeat for the last few hours and I'm still not sick of it. It even inspired this layout...

YESSSS its Spring Break. I so desperately needed time off from school. from work. from people. from stress. Must make the most out these 2 weeks! Yeah I say that and how am I spending these 2 weeks exactly? Taking SAT Prep Classes at where? SCHOOL. Ohh my gawww Jenn. You must be insane. At least I get to see Kristel, Shareese, and Michelle everyday :).
Oh yeah, my SAT Prep math teacher is mad funny and entertaining might I add.
"Maganda, maganda / These are my confessions *does a little dance* / I have a special place in my heart for little girls." But he's cool. His name is Iman and he's half Instanbul-ish/Persian. Interesting huh?
I love having this blog. (Yes, its exactly like Xanga, but it never hurts to try something new.) I can never keep up with written diaries because I think faster than I right, so this is perfect :). What's even better is that I feel like I'm talking to myself and as Mr. Newman says... "

And finally, adding up my bid, dress, flowers, jewelry, pictures, shoes, underwear (lol), makeup, and hair, the total cost comes out to..... *drumroll* a little over $500. DAYYYYUM, didn't realize that till I added it up just now. Thank you mom, dad, and aunty for giving up $500 of your hard-earned money for me. I promise I'll continue to work hard and get those 4.0's for you guys.
Better log down all I remember from last night before I forget. This is gonna be one heck of an entry so brace yourself...
Prom day morning // 8:00AM: Stupid alarm clock woke me up from this awesome dream I was having lol. After 5 minutes of trying to wake myself up, I reached over to my left, grabbed Zenny, and listened to music until 8:30. Then I took a shower - all I remember was that the water was freezing cold, not so fun. Picked up my flowers @ Leeward Florist. Saw Krystel Monterey and Anson there... ughhh. They got the same bouquet as mine, except it had blue ribbon. Whatever, mines looked better lol. Went home, took pictures of the bouquet - it was super adorable, even had a white butterfly on it. Had about 2 hours to pack everything and rest before I went to Abbey's to get my hair/makeup done. Forget spending $75 for makeup at Mac - Abbey is so pro, I'm going to her for Senior Prom too. Loved how she did my hair and makeup, although I have to admit that it hurt quite a bit when she curled my hair. Ahh she pulled so hard sometimes. Oh well, anything to look good I guess? Took a lot longer than expected, she said less than an hour. It took 3. I felt bad, had to keep calling Ritchel telling him different times.. 1st time: "We're coming at about 2:00-2:15ish." 2nd time: "2:35" We left Abbey's house at exactly 2:28, sped over to our house, got there at 2:33, rush packed everything into the car in about 2 minutes, then finally picked him up at about 2:40. RAWR. I knew we were gonna be late, I was supposed to be at the hotel by 3:00 and didn't get there until 3:30. Oh well, at least everyone else was late too. And when we got to the ballroom, the tables were EMPTY. Where the HELL were all the starboxes and favors and junk?!?! Hale Koa was supposed to place all of them on the tables by the time we got there - that was the deal, that was the reason we killed ourselves planning out instructions and trying to drop off all the stuff 2 days early. Grrr, I'm still mad about that. Had to make the most of the short 2 hours that we were allotted to set up, even made a few prom court people help out. I remember Dominick kept asking me what he could do to help, how sweet. Probably the only time I'l ever say that about him haha. Felt bad though about making Ritchel work on the balloons since he didn't force me to work at FSB. On top of that, Ms. Folk kept bugging me about the DJ. "Jenn, where is your DJ?" 5 minutes later, "Jenn, when's your DJ coming?" He'll come when he comes, I can't clear traffic and pull his car over here in 5 minutes so just leave me alone woman! So happy when we were finished with everything, minus 2 pillars but that didn't matter. Got to get ready and enjoy the rest of the night. Getting ready in the bathroom was fun, it was cool seeing all my friends get glammed up for the night. Camwhored a bit in the bathroom mirrors :). Went into the ballroom with the girls and saw that no one was there but us. We were all "Where are the guys?" And we thought we took long to get ready. Guys were probably having fun with each other in the bathroom or asking each other how to tie a tie, LOL.
The night finally began when everyone started coming in. Camwhored with everyone as soon as the walked in haha. Hey, gotta make the most out of the night. It'll be another year till we all look that good ever again. But yeah everyone was hot, or as Dongie would say, hott :) John was even wearing a tux with the piano-man tail in the back, pretty cool. I remember Ritchel looked pretty tired and uninterested, made me feel bad, kept asking him if he was ok and all I got was a "Yes, I'm fine." LIAR! Something was up or just his mind was anywhere but here. Even in the pictures he looked sleepy, no matter how many I took lol. But I got a few un-sleepy ones out of it.
I think next came council pictures at 7. It took so long, our tables even started eating before we got out, so we were stuck in the back of the line. It was all good though since we were last, we got the rest of the food. I was standing behind Dominick in line and he kept having these random outbursts to dance. Me, Trisha, and Aubrey had to contain our laughter. That boy, never ceases to entertain me. Saw John at the dessert table, he didn't know what to get so told him to get all the ones with strawberries on it because they were pink. He was scared to take a slice out of this one thing so I had to do it for him. Lazy punk.
Program was good. I loved Ricky's singing and Dominick's rap, as strange as it was and as annoying as he can be, it was cute if you just paid attention the lyrics. And ughh the prom committee and council had to be recognized. I seriously hate those. None of us want recognition, not like anyone in our class really cares. It's quite embarassing but there's nothing we can do. I blame Ms. Folk for that lol. At least we got to do our little "tribute" thing. First we thanked Ms. Folk and gave her a bouquet of flowers. Then we thanked Ms. Taan and gave her 2 bouquets, a sash, and I got to crown her :). I remember seeing Ms. Taan's face when we thanked Ms. Folk first, she looked like she was gonna cry. She even told us that she almost was because she thought we didn't plan anything for her. Silly woman, of course we planned something for her! We love our hot mama. Ooh then it was prom court! GO SASHA and DEYH! The dance was uber cute. I love watching Jayme's face the most, he's good lol. Jarin and Deyh won. Really happy for her, we all know how much she's always wanted to be crowned.
Then it was time for... DANCING! w00t! I kept wanting to go up, but Trisha didn't want to. It's no fun unless Crayola's with me, but we finally got her to come with us. That went on for a while, it was fun doing stupid stuff on the floor, doesn't really matter how dumb we looked, if we were together, that's all that really mattered. Then the first slow song of the night, I grabbed Ritchel's hand the second I heard it, lol. Who else would I share the first slow dance of the night with? I remember he kept stepping on my feet, and the back part of his neck area was damp, lol, but that's ok. Slow dancing makes me tired. Went to go take pictures at around 945 I think, girls went to the bathroom to retouch and whatever, camwhored a little, then came back out. And it took forever to get in the photo room. Super long line, and it ended up taking the whole night just take two crayola pictures and one with Ritchel. I was kinda sad, no "ballin'!" for me :( I didn't get to dance the last song, and I still owe Dongie a dance from FSB last year. I promise next year to take all pictures BEFORE the dance part. "Walk It Out" played 3 times though, all out of requests. Haha, crazy kids.
Walked back into the ballroom and everyone was cleaning up. 5 months of hard work and stress over in 1 night. Good job, Kari and the rest of the committee. We did it! Oh but what drove me insane was all those star boxes left on the tables. I swear there were at least 100 of them that no one took home. Ms. Taan told us to smash them, so we did. It was bittersweet. A great way for us to relieve our prom-planning stress, and at the same time a blunt reminder of how futile and wasteful our our 500+ hours spent making them were.
Everyone went home, but I had to stay with Nick until he finished packing all his DJ stuff. He was done in about 10 minutes, but we had to wait for Ritchel to come back. Don't know where he went, I think to go put stuff in Ms. Taan's car or something. He finally came back and we headed for the car. Gotta admit, it was pretty cool being one of the last people out of the ballroom. Saw Shareese waiting at the bottom of the stairs, waiting for her dad. She looked cool standing there alone against the lights of the railing in her purple prom dress - very emo-ish, but in a good way :)
It started to rain. Thank God my sister had an umbrella, didn't want my makeup to run lol. I like looking up at the rain, feels like the droplets are coming for me. But don't look up at them unless youre under some kind of shade or else the rain is gonna get in your eyes *cough*Ritchel*cough* haha. Played Zenny in the car. "Make You Smile" by +44 makes a really nice 'night-driving' song btw (although I still think that girl's voice doesn't really match, but I got used to it I guess). Fell asleep in the car, woke up once we reached the Kunia exit. Hmmm, wonder if Ritchel fell asleep... Dropped him off home. End scene. Even though he looked sleepy and all at the beginning, glad he was my date. [Thank you, Mr. Ortal :) And you looked really nice that night, and I was happy that your inner vest thing matched my dress pretty well, lol.]
Wish prom didn't end so quickly. Wish the night didn't end. Wish I got to do a lot more stuff... Oh well, there's always next time, I hope.
Mini-rewind. Had no one in mind for my date at first, considered going stag. Then Ritchel came up, so I asked him. Felt weird asking a guy to prom, so I asked him to ask me to my prom. I know, I'm so lame. And I even asked him to ask me with a pink rose. Sorry Ritchel if that was weird for you. Think it was like what, late january? Saw you at the tree at recess and I asked you: "
Hey Ritchel, you want to take me to my prom?". You probably were thinking, "What the heck? Who told her I wanted to go to prom? Where did this come from?" Lol. Thank you for coming with me and putting up with me and the long picture line. Though I wish you talked to me more that night, but it's ok :).

I love Spring Break. I get to stay up as late as I want and do nothing but go online and play Pokemon Emerald on my GBA lol. That reminds me, I need to level up some more before I battle the next gym leader. And when are my Pikachu and Nuzleaf ever gonna evolve? Grr.
Grandma, aunty, and uncle are leaving for the Philippines in about 8 hours. I'm going to miss my grandma and aunty so much. I pray that they'll have a safe flight to and from the PI. Hope they bring me back something good :) Gotta clean the house to make room for Uncle Lauro when they come back...
It's really nice outside right now. It's so quiet and the night wind is cool. I'd love to just sit outside with someone and talk about... anything. I would go outside by myself, but I'm scared someone might jump out at me from behind the plants and I wouldn't know what to do. Ahhck.

*Sigh* Its my time again. I hate getting it. Going to the bathroom every few hours to change, always having to worry about leaking, and PMS - all this fineprint on that "becoming a woman" package lol. The bright side: I didn't get it during prom. Thank you God! Now that would've been

Rewind. Yesterday, went with my sister to UH to do some errands. I love going to school with her - college is so different than high school and I love how independent and self-serving everything is. Now, where was I? Oh yeah, after UH we went to Ala Moana to kill time waiting for Nick to finish up his card tournament thing. Went to a few stores, saw nothing that interested me. But once we hit Slipper House, it was over. They had this huge sale on flats that literally had "
Jenn, Shop Here Now" written all over it. Sad thing was I only brought $25 with me. Why is it that when I do have money there's nothing I want, but when I dont have money, Slipper House has a sale? Why must the universe work like this... At least I got 2 pairs of shoes - a pair of white slingbacks and a pair of bright red flats with a huge bow on it, perfect for Arthur's next year. Can't wait to use them :)
After, we stopped by Old Navy and as soon as we walked in, I heard the nicest song I've heard in a looong time. I stopped in front of the nearest table (which happened to be in the little boys section lol) and stood there listening for lyrics to the song so I could find/dl it later. All I could muster were vague bits of speech which seemed to say "I wanna get closer to you, closer to you". Thank God that I was able to find it once I got home. And I've been in love with this song ever since, been on repeat for the last few hours and I'm still not sick of it. It even inspired this layout...

YESSSS its Spring Break. I so desperately needed time off from school. from work. from people. from stress. Must make the most out these 2 weeks! Yeah I say that and how am I spending these 2 weeks exactly? Taking SAT Prep Classes at where? SCHOOL. Ohh my gawww Jenn. You must be insane. At least I get to see Kristel, Shareese, and Michelle everyday :).
Oh yeah, my SAT Prep math teacher is mad funny and entertaining might I add.

And finally, adding up my bid, dress, flowers, jewelry, pictures, shoes, underwear (lol), makeup, and hair, the total cost comes out to..... *drumroll* a little over $500. DAYYYYUM, didn't realize that till I added it up just now. Thank you mom, dad, and aunty for giving up $500 of your hard-earned money for me. I promise I'll continue to work hard and get those 4.0's for you guys.
Better log down all I remember from last night before I forget. This is gonna be one heck of an entry so brace yourself...
Prom day morning // 8:00AM: Stupid alarm clock woke me up from this awesome dream I was having lol. After 5 minutes of trying to wake myself up, I reached over to my left, grabbed Zenny, and listened to music until 8:30. Then I took a shower - all I remember was that the water was freezing cold, not so fun. Picked up my flowers @ Leeward Florist. Saw Krystel Monterey and Anson there... ughhh. They got the same bouquet as mine, except it had blue ribbon. Whatever, mines looked better lol. Went home, took pictures of the bouquet - it was super adorable, even had a white butterfly on it. Had about 2 hours to pack everything and rest before I went to Abbey's to get my hair/makeup done. Forget spending $75 for makeup at Mac - Abbey is so pro, I'm going to her for Senior Prom too. Loved how she did my hair and makeup, although I have to admit that it hurt quite a bit when she curled my hair. Ahh she pulled so hard sometimes. Oh well, anything to look good I guess? Took a lot longer than expected, she said less than an hour. It took 3. I felt bad, had to keep calling Ritchel telling him different times.. 1st time: "We're coming at about 2:00-2:15ish." 2nd time: "2:35" We left Abbey's house at exactly 2:28, sped over to our house, got there at 2:33, rush packed everything into the car in about 2 minutes, then finally picked him up at about 2:40. RAWR. I knew we were gonna be late, I was supposed to be at the hotel by 3:00 and didn't get there until 3:30. Oh well, at least everyone else was late too. And when we got to the ballroom, the tables were EMPTY. Where the HELL were all the starboxes and favors and junk?!?! Hale Koa was supposed to place all of them on the tables by the time we got there - that was the deal, that was the reason we killed ourselves planning out instructions and trying to drop off all the stuff 2 days early. Grrr, I'm still mad about that. Had to make the most of the short 2 hours that we were allotted to set up, even made a few prom court people help out. I remember Dominick kept asking me what he could do to help, how sweet. Probably the only time I'l ever say that about him haha. Felt bad though about making Ritchel work on the balloons since he didn't force me to work at FSB. On top of that, Ms. Folk kept bugging me about the DJ. "Jenn, where is your DJ?" 5 minutes later, "Jenn, when's your DJ coming?" He'll come when he comes, I can't clear traffic and pull his car over here in 5 minutes so just leave me alone woman! So happy when we were finished with everything, minus 2 pillars but that didn't matter. Got to get ready and enjoy the rest of the night. Getting ready in the bathroom was fun, it was cool seeing all my friends get glammed up for the night. Camwhored a bit in the bathroom mirrors :). Went into the ballroom with the girls and saw that no one was there but us. We were all "Where are the guys?" And we thought we took long to get ready. Guys were probably having fun with each other in the bathroom or asking each other how to tie a tie, LOL.
The night finally began when everyone started coming in. Camwhored with everyone as soon as the walked in haha. Hey, gotta make the most out of the night. It'll be another year till we all look that good ever again. But yeah everyone was hot, or as Dongie would say, hott :) John was even wearing a tux with the piano-man tail in the back, pretty cool. I remember Ritchel looked pretty tired and uninterested, made me feel bad, kept asking him if he was ok and all I got was a "Yes, I'm fine." LIAR! Something was up or just his mind was anywhere but here. Even in the pictures he looked sleepy, no matter how many I took lol. But I got a few un-sleepy ones out of it.
I think next came council pictures at 7. It took so long, our tables even started eating before we got out, so we were stuck in the back of the line. It was all good though since we were last, we got the rest of the food. I was standing behind Dominick in line and he kept having these random outbursts to dance. Me, Trisha, and Aubrey had to contain our laughter. That boy, never ceases to entertain me. Saw John at the dessert table, he didn't know what to get so told him to get all the ones with strawberries on it because they were pink. He was scared to take a slice out of this one thing so I had to do it for him. Lazy punk.
Program was good. I loved Ricky's singing and Dominick's rap, as strange as it was and as annoying as he can be, it was cute if you just paid attention the lyrics. And ughh the prom committee and council had to be recognized. I seriously hate those. None of us want recognition, not like anyone in our class really cares. It's quite embarassing but there's nothing we can do. I blame Ms. Folk for that lol. At least we got to do our little "tribute" thing. First we thanked Ms. Folk and gave her a bouquet of flowers. Then we thanked Ms. Taan and gave her 2 bouquets, a sash, and I got to crown her :). I remember seeing Ms. Taan's face when we thanked Ms. Folk first, she looked like she was gonna cry. She even told us that she almost was because she thought we didn't plan anything for her. Silly woman, of course we planned something for her! We love our hot mama. Ooh then it was prom court! GO SASHA and DEYH! The dance was uber cute. I love watching Jayme's face the most, he's good lol. Jarin and Deyh won. Really happy for her, we all know how much she's always wanted to be crowned.
Then it was time for... DANCING! w00t! I kept wanting to go up, but Trisha didn't want to. It's no fun unless Crayola's with me, but we finally got her to come with us. That went on for a while, it was fun doing stupid stuff on the floor, doesn't really matter how dumb we looked, if we were together, that's all that really mattered. Then the first slow song of the night, I grabbed Ritchel's hand the second I heard it, lol. Who else would I share the first slow dance of the night with? I remember he kept stepping on my feet, and the back part of his neck area was damp, lol, but that's ok. Slow dancing makes me tired. Went to go take pictures at around 945 I think, girls went to the bathroom to retouch and whatever, camwhored a little, then came back out. And it took forever to get in the photo room. Super long line, and it ended up taking the whole night just take two crayola pictures and one with Ritchel. I was kinda sad, no "ballin'!" for me :( I didn't get to dance the last song, and I still owe Dongie a dance from FSB last year. I promise next year to take all pictures BEFORE the dance part. "Walk It Out" played 3 times though, all out of requests. Haha, crazy kids.
Walked back into the ballroom and everyone was cleaning up. 5 months of hard work and stress over in 1 night. Good job, Kari and the rest of the committee. We did it! Oh but what drove me insane was all those star boxes left on the tables. I swear there were at least 100 of them that no one took home. Ms. Taan told us to smash them, so we did. It was bittersweet. A great way for us to relieve our prom-planning stress, and at the same time a blunt reminder of how futile and wasteful our our 500+ hours spent making them were.
Everyone went home, but I had to stay with Nick until he finished packing all his DJ stuff. He was done in about 10 minutes, but we had to wait for Ritchel to come back. Don't know where he went, I think to go put stuff in Ms. Taan's car or something. He finally came back and we headed for the car. Gotta admit, it was pretty cool being one of the last people out of the ballroom. Saw Shareese waiting at the bottom of the stairs, waiting for her dad. She looked cool standing there alone against the lights of the railing in her purple prom dress - very emo-ish, but in a good way :)
It started to rain. Thank God my sister had an umbrella, didn't want my makeup to run lol. I like looking up at the rain, feels like the droplets are coming for me. But don't look up at them unless youre under some kind of shade or else the rain is gonna get in your eyes *cough*Ritchel*cough* haha. Played Zenny in the car. "Make You Smile" by +44 makes a really nice 'night-driving' song btw (although I still think that girl's voice doesn't really match, but I got used to it I guess). Fell asleep in the car, woke up once we reached the Kunia exit. Hmmm, wonder if Ritchel fell asleep... Dropped him off home. End scene. Even though he looked sleepy and all at the beginning, glad he was my date. [Thank you, Mr. Ortal :) And you looked really nice that night, and I was happy that your inner vest thing matched my dress pretty well, lol.]
Wish prom didn't end so quickly. Wish the night didn't end. Wish I got to do a lot more stuff... Oh well, there's always next time, I hope.
Mini-rewind. Had no one in mind for my date at first, considered going stag. Then Ritchel came up, so I asked him. Felt weird asking a guy to prom, so I asked him to ask me to my prom. I know, I'm so lame. And I even asked him to ask me with a pink rose. Sorry Ritchel if that was weird for you. Think it was like what, late january? Saw you at the tree at recess and I asked you: "
Hey Ritchel, you want to take me to my prom?". You probably were thinking, "What the heck? Who told her I wanted to go to prom? Where did this come from?" Lol. Thank you for coming with me and putting up with me and the long picture line. Though I wish you talked to me more that night, but it's ok :).
